Sophie Heinlein graduated from New York Law School in 2018. While attending law school, Sophie concentrated in matrimonial and family law and spent her spare time sharpening her negotiation skills on the Dispute Resolution Team.
Sophie worked as a judicial intern for both a New York State Supreme Court Judge and a New Jersey Family Court Judge before joining Dobrish Michaels Gross LLP in September 2018.
Sophie was admitted to the First Judicial Department of the New York Bar in February 2019 and has been practicing exclusively in this field since her graduation from law school. Sophie is well versed in the sophisticated art of drafting complicated separation, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements and has in-depth experience with the intricacies of high net-worth equitable distribution and custody issues.
Sophie is also a contributing author of “The Joint Custody Presumption Assumption” and, after just over two years of practicing, was selected by Super Lawyers as a NYC Metro Area Rising Star in the area of family law in 2021.
