Liza S. Camellerie has been exclusively practicing all areas of family and matrimonial law, including custody, visitation, paternity, support, child protective and divorce matters, since 2007. Liza has served as both a supervising attorney with New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services and a member of the Manhattan Family Court 18-B Panel. Liza has been certified by the First Judicial Department as an attorney qualified to represent children in custody and visitation disputes in both Manhattan Family Court and Manhattan Supreme Court. She is a member of the New York City Bar Association Family Court and Family Law Committee and the New York Women’s Bar Association Matrimonial Committee and Children’s Rights Committee, and has served on the New York Family Court’s Expedited Permanency for Children Committee.
Liza graduated with honors from Boston University in 2000. In 2006, Liza earned her Juris Doctorate at the Syracuse University College of Law, as well as a Master in Public Administration at the Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. Liza began her career as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Burrell I. Humphreys in New Jersey Superior Court.
