David Elbaum has dedicated his professional life to the representation of individuals and the protection of their rights. He began his legal career in 2000 as a civil rights and Constitutional lawyer, honing his litigation skills at Greenwald Christoph P.C., a law firm founded by noted Constitutional lawyer, and now national security and civil liberties journalist, Glenn Greenwald. In 2006, David transitioned his practice into matrimonial and family law. As an honor’s graduate with a heavy concentration in accounting, David possesses a unique skill set for the practice of matrimonial law, particularly in representing clients with complex asset portfolios.
David is highly experienced in all facets of matrimonial and family law practice, including matters relating to child custody, support, and equitable distribution of assets. He is a staunch believer in taking a client-centered approach, beginning with clarifying a client’s goals at the outset of the representation, and then working collaboratively to achieve those goals in a cost-effective, expeditious, and targeted manner. David is a member of the Matrimonial Law Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.
