Elizabeth E. Erickson is a 2006 graduate of the New England School of Law. Admitted to the Bar in February 2007, she is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. While at New England School of Law, Ms. Erickson served as the Executive Case and Note Editor for the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement, for which she was honored as Editor of the Year. Upon graduation, she was awarded the New England School of Law Service Award by the Dean.
Ms. Erickson has been practicing exclusively in the field of matrimonial and family law since her graduation from law school, having served as the Judicial Law Clerk to Hon. Ronald L. Reisner in the New Jersey Superior Court – Family Part, where she assisted with drafting decisions and orders on all issues before that Court, including pendente lite relief, child support, custody, equitable distribution, maintenance, court procedure and jurisdiction, and post-judgment enforcement and modification.
Ms. Erickson is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Family Law Section, where she serves on the Executive Committee, a member of its Ethics and OCA Matters/Bench & Bar Relations Committees, and has served on the Executive Committee for its Young Lawyers Section. In addition, She was appointed to, and presently serves as a member of, the Committee on Attorney Professionalism of the New York State Bar Association. Ms. Erickson is also a member of the Westchester County Bar Association (Family Law Section). She has been a lecturer for the New York State Bar Association Continuing Legal Education program in the areas of Family Court Practice, as well as Matrimonial and Family Law Basics.
Ms. Erickson has been named to the New York Metro Rising Stars List by SuperLawyers every year since 2014.
